Policy and procedure documentation is critical to an organization because they ensure that Information Technology employees understand their assigned responsibilities and enable the smooth functioning of computer operations Policies reflect your company’s goals and specify how you intend to operate your business by establishing guidelines for your staff. Users are provided with a detailed and easily understood plan of action required to perform IT processes.

At STS, we work with clients to develop, review, and revise the IT policies and procedures to meet best practices, regulatory requirements, and internal controls as well as realize corporate objectives. We also document business process policies and procedures, facilitate administration, and address and remediate possible documentation deficiencies that may occur. We believe that a corporate policy and procedure manual has to communicate all information effectively, consistently, and thoroughly.
